In Zombotown, your hero stands on a street while zombies walk in from both sides. You can move left and right and attack anything that gets close. At first there are only a few enemies, but after a short time there are zombies everywhere. You need to keep hitting them, step out of tight spots, and watch your health bar so you do not get overwhelmed. Your score goes up with each zombie you defeat, so every second you stay alive feels like a win.

From time to time, crates drop down onto the road. When you touch a crate, it breaks open and gives you a new weapon or a power-up. You might find a strong gun for a short time or a special boost that helps clear the screen. Powerful weapons run out of ammo, so you switch back to your normal weapon once they are empty. This makes the game feel like a series of small chances. When a crate appears, you hurry to it, grab what is inside, and use it to push the zombies back.

As you survive longer, tougher zombies arrive. Some move faster, some take more hits, and some appear in bigger groups. If they trap you in the middle, you quickly lose health, so you always look for a weak point in the crowd and dash through it. After each run, you can unlock small upgrades that make your next try a little easier, like more health or stronger hits. That way you feel your hero growing over time. Zombotown is about quick reactions, smart use of power-ups, and seeing how long you can last in a town full of zombies.
