The story mode runs over four weeks. It kicks off with a face-off against Steven. Players unlock two extra modes halfway through. The finale pits players against Finn and Jake.

Freeplay opens access to every unlocked song. It drops players onto the stage outside the story path.

Tracks include No Hero, You Cannot Save Them, Glitched Duo and No Hero Remastered. Elastic Destruction, Lost Legend and Together Forever set a fast pace. Brotherly Bond, Gummy Substances and Glitched Gem warp the soundtrack. Corrupted Hero, Blue Balled and Gunshot dial up the intensity. Last Spooktober, Overworked and Than Change challenge every beat. My Friends and Save the Day wrap up the roster.
