Every run begins on a blank black screen. Once you hit enter, arrow symbols flash along the bottom and the melody starts. The interface shifts and prompts you to match each beat.

Story mode blends a tutorial with seven full weeks of music battles. Up and down arrows move through each week. Left and right arrows tweak tempo and note count. Enter launches the next song. Pressing that key again pauses or ends the session.

Freeplay mode unlocks twenty one modes starting with that same tutorial. Each song tests your timing. Songs range from Bopeebo and Fresh to Spookeez, Pico, Winter and Stress. During each track, arrow icons travel toward targets and you press the matching arrow when they align.
