In Another Planet 2, a little alien explores a strange planet looking for glowing gems. Each stage is like a tiny maze made of rock blocks, platforms, and traps. At the end there is a big gem or exit door. Your job is to guide the alien through the maze without touching spikes or other dangers.

The alien carries a laser gun, and that is the clever part of the game. The laser can cut some blocks so they fall and turn into new platforms. It can break thin walls and hit buttons from far away. When you fire in the air, the push of the laser can move the alien a bit in the opposite direction, which helps with tricky jumps. Kids learn that the gun is not just a weapon. It is also a tool for solving puzzles.

New levels add more traps, more switches, and more places where one wrong cut can block the path. Sometimes you restart and try a different order of moves. That is part of the fun.
