Battle Gear Underground places players in charge of underground skirmishes across forty distinct arenas. The action unfolds in a maze of tunnels and chambers. Players launch units into narrow corridors. They defend their base. Then they push forward against enemy lines.

The title lets players call up infantry squads and line up artillery batteries. It also deploys air support flights. They call in air strikes to weaken enemy ranks then place towers along key points. Smart placement of guns and squads forms a mobile bastion. Players upgrade each unit with special skills that boost firepower and speed.

A grid of four battle rows adds tactical depth. Troops hop between raised platforms and cross rugged tunnels to reach the enemy stronghold. Players earn medals by completing missions and unlock four separate campaign paths. Each route challenges a different approach and rewards clever planning.
