About 1915

1915 drops you into World War 1 and asks you to witness the Battle of Loos. You explore a lifelike trench set up like a museum display. The whole run lasts around fifteen minutes. You also read memoirs from men once stationed in those muddy trenches.

The game paints war without the usual heroics. It shows mud, gunfire and fear without turning it into a blockbuster. Visual scenes and quotes come from diaries of men lost in the fighting. You feel the weight of each letter carved into wooden walls.

The game moves you through a muddy corridor from day to night. You face fresh recruits with fear in their eyes before their orders. The guns go silent. You walk past empty posts soaked in silence. This short journey holds real voices and spare details that stay with you.
